I'm finishing up some carry-all book bags with the fall colors. I don't want summer to end though. I have a few more warm weather, colorful bags to make before the cool fall breezes arrive.
This is my first project on my new sewing machine! It is a pleated bag. I walked into the Bernina store just to see what they had . . . and the sales pitch got me! Sales people see me a mile away, sad but true. But I do love my new machine!!
I borrowed my aunts sewing machine, so August is not a complete loss. I'm working on the pages right now for the new bags! Check out this ruffle sling bag . . .
This denim messenger bag is in the process of being finished. I have to wait for my sewing machine to get done with its tune-up before I can finish the bag. I think it is time for an industrial machine, maybe a Pfaff or Juki.
Francesca is about to make her enterance into Cute Little Dot shop. I'm taking a little break from loading pictures of bags and designing web site pages at the shop. It is HOT here! I'm cook'n in an oven getting ready for this July beccabags update. I'll have to re-read this is Feburary to warm me up!
This ruffle bag, sophia, is waiting for July. With sophia debut, she will have the cutest description written by Eireann from ohbara.com. To get a glimpse of these wonderful descriptions now, go to etsy.
This 'there's a party inside' bag is in the works for the July update at the Cute Little Dot shop. Only a few more bags to sew, then on to some paper projects. I miss my art room.
More ruffle bags are in the process! This is a ruffle bag I made a month or so ago. They take awhile to make but look so pretty when they are done. They are a bit of whimsy but fuctional too.
These reversible messenger bags have been a very popular at beccabags. I want to make more for the July update. Some many bags to make, yet so little time . . .
My new beccabags feature is cell phone pockets. I don't actually have a cell phone. I borrowed a friend's cell phone to make the cell phone pocket measurements. I've been meaning to get a cell phone for a few years now, sort of behind the times with this. In the winter time I think I should really have one for emergencies, maybe this winter I'll take the plunge and buy a cell phone.
