"You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own, than when you almost broke it eight years and a half ago.Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you."
Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
I finally started a knitting project that is not a miniature, it is people size - my size. The Central Park Hoodie in a midnight blue yarn is on my knitting needles. It takes a lot longer to knit for people than dolls. Imagine that?

Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorite bands. No, I don't sm*ke P@t. Every time someone hears I like Pink Floyd, they assume I'm the local illegal substance provider. Ugh. It is like Pink Floyd is a code word for something else. I do not use or promote their use, thank you very much. But, I do love Pink Floyd. Shine on you crazy diamonds.
Just found this video by Landon Durnan on Pret a Voyager's blog. I miss the feel of the road when traveling long distances on vacation, not that I ride a motorcycle, just in the car. I have been on the computer a long time editing photos and trying to figure out ccs, ftp, and other mystical computer code in trying to update my website. So, I will just watch Landon's video for a quick vacation.
